I was scrolling through TikTok awhile ago and came across a "golf" dress from Halara, an athletic apparel company. The dress was marketed as a golf dress but lacked a collar and did not seem suitable to golf in. Many courses have dress codes that include a collared shirt or dress for women. While this dress is nice for other activities, if a woman showed up in this dress to play a round, she would most likely get turned away.
